High school football playoff brackets released

The TSSAAA has released the brackets for the 2012 playoffs and 31 teams in the WBIR viewing area have reached the postseason.

Maryville takes the No. 1 seed in quadrant 1 of 6A while Hardin Valley just barely slips in thanks to its win over Karns last night.

In 5A, Powell grabs a No. 1 seed and Anderson County slides in with last night's rivalry game win against Clinton.

In 4A, No. 2 seed Fulton will have a first round rematch against Carter.

The stage is set for Alcoa and CAK to potentially meet again in the 3A playoffs. The Tornadoes are the No. 1 seed and the Warriors No. 2 in quadrant 2.

In 2A, Grace and Oneida earn first round byes while Rockwood takes the final spot in quadrant 1.

Greenback and Coalfield also get first round byes in 1A.
