Tennessee Vols (5-7, 1-7 SEC) earned their first SEC win of season with a 37-17 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville on Saturday.

UT interim head coach Jim Chaney led the Vols into their last game of the season against Kentucky, after former head coach Derek Dooley's departure.

The Volunteers began to pull away from the Kentucky Wildcats as the fourth quarter began in Knoxville with a score of 34-17.

UT quarterback Tyler Bray threw four touchdowns. Tight end Mychal Rivera, wide receivers Codarrelle Patterson and Justin Hunter and Zach Rogers all caught touchdown passes.

Rivera's 29-yard catch gave Tennessee a 34-17 lead. For the rest of the game, Kentucky was never able to catch up.

Now both Tennessee and Kentucky's searches for new head coaches begins. Last weekend, Tennessee fired Derek Dooley after a disappointing loss to Vanderbilt on Saturday, 17. Earlier this month, Kentucky also fired its head football coach Joker Phillips a day after the team lost to Vanderbilt as well.
