"Everywhere I go, it doesn't matter, they go 'I met your mom, or they go 'oh, I know who your mom is,'" Holly Warlick joked about her mom.
Fran Warlick is the fan in seat number eight. She's sat there for every game for 28 years.
She is a mother of three. She and and her husband Bill moved to Knoxville when Holly was just 2. She watched her youngest grow from a standout at Bearden High to the head coach of the Lady Vols.
"I didn't jump up and down and do no back flips. I just said I was proud of her and it was wonderful," Fran said about the moment Holly earned her new role.
Holly joked at her introductory press conference that her mom wanted better seats now that she was the head coach. Holly joked, "Absolutely not!"
But Fran has an idea that may finally get her that upgrade.
"I said, you know what, I'm going to come and see a boys game and I'm going to see where Cuonzo Martin's mother's sitting, and I want to have the same seat."
