The Lady Vols beat the Lady Gators of Florida in the second round of the SEC tournament Friday, 82-73.
The Lady Vols advanced to the SEC Tournament semifinals with a win over Florida Friday afternoon. You may have noticed the new gear the Lady Vols were sporting on the sidelines. They long-sleeve shirts show the phrase "Rise to the Occasion".
The women received the shirts last week, and they said it's their new post-season phrase.
As a senior, the phrase is even more special for Kamiko Williams. "Take every game as if it's your last you know. This year a lot of teams have improved. You just have to bring it. Like I said, we have a short bench, so everyone's had to step up and rise to the occasion."
The Lady Vols will play Texas A&M Saturday at 4:00 PM. Winner advances to the SEC Tournament finals.
