Former NFL player and coach Tony Dungy talked football in Pigeon Forge on Friday night. He spoke at the Carson-Newman Football Coaching Clinic.
The clinic is about encouraging coaches and their wives, and learning that regardless of the level you coach, it's how you coach that matters. Dungy said Carson-Newman Coach Ken Sparks sets a good example.
Dungy coached the Indianapolis Colts from 2002 to 2008. His starting quarterback was former Vol Peyton Manning. He's now an analyst on NBC's Football Night in America.
Former Buffalo Bills Head Coach Chan Gailey also spoke at Friday's event.
