The Lady Vols softball team won Tuesday night 7-0 over Murray State at Lee Stadium.
The rookies stoodout in the game including Erin Gabriel and Rainey Gaffin.
In the whole game Murray State only got on base three times.
UT's next game will be against Texas A&M for a three-game series Friday through Sunday.
Saturday's game will be televised on ESPNU at 6:30 p.m.
UT will be retiring pitcher Monica Abbott's No. 7 jersey before that game.
