The Lady Vols basketball team is trying to make it's third straight Elite Eight, but first they have to get through Oklahoma. Tennessee takes on OU in the Sweet Sixteen at 4:30 ET on Sunday.
When the Lady Vols go on the road during the NCAA Tournament, it's usually a home-game atmosphere. The Big Orange fan base travels so well that it largely outnumbers the opponents fans.
Sunday's Sweet 16 will be a little different, since the Sooners play just 20 miles away from Chesapeake Arena. The Lady Vols are still expecting the Big Orange to outnumber the Sooner fans.
One of the things motivating this Tennessee squad is the disrespect they got at the beginning of the season. Most of the polls predicted Tennessee to land in the middle of the SEC and not be a factor this late in the postseason. UT's hoping a win on Sunday will prove the pollsters that they underestimated Holly Warlick and this year's squad.
The last time Tennessee and Oklahoma played was back in 2010 at Thompson-Boling Arena. The Lady Vols won that game 96-75.
