Look out, Peyton Manning. The Denver Broncos prank war is only beginning.

A week after the Broncos' quarterback tricked receiver Eric Decker into thinking he owed $3,000 to cover the costs of working out at Duke University, Decker said he's plotting his revenge.

"There's some stuff in the works. I got some intel from some people on his side," Decker said. "It's going to be good."

Decker was the only one of the invited guests not in on the prank at the Duke workouts - which also included Broncos receivers Demaryius Thomas and Wes Welker, and the New York Giants' Eli Manning, Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks and Louis Murphy.

Decker has spent a year being reverential to Manning. He was the first teammate to join Manning for throwing sessions last March, shortly after the quarterback signed with the Broncos, and even now talks about how Manning is "a guy you dream about playing with."

After Wednesday's weight-lifting session at Dove Valley during the first week of voluntary offseason training, Decker said he's been watching Manning since "middle school" and previously wouldn't have dared to tell Manning that. But after the Duke prank?

"Maybe I should," Decker said, laughing.

Decker came away from the Duke workouts impressed with Manning's arm strength and with new teammate Welker, the NFL's premier slot receiver who signed with the Broncos as a free agent in March.

Decker said he "felt a little more zip" on Manning's passes and could tell Manning had benefited from time away to rest his right arm and increased work in the weight room.

"I can't complain about his ball," Decker said. "It was tremendous last year, just the way he threw it, just how every time he hits you in the numbers. This past week, he had a little pop on it. You could tell he was excited to get back and get the timing down."
