Summer sweat and strong showings at camps have helped Maryville lineman Dylan Jackson, class of 2015, catch the eyes of SEC coaches. Vanderbilt was the first to offer.

"The first one so it was obviously great to pick up the first one because obviously others will come after it," said Jackson. "But it was a great experience just getting it. Me and a bunch of guys up there are going to camps and meeting everybody."

It didn't take long for that second SEC offer to come in. Tennessee has its eye on the Illinois native as well.

"Oh it's great," said Jackson. "I haven't lived here my whole life, so I mean I've adopted the tradition just growing up here the last couple of years. So getting that offer meant a lot."

Maryville head coach George Quarles says Jackson has a great work ethic to go along with an intimidating physique.

"He obviously has some physical traits that, you know, are God given," said Quarles. "He's 6-6, you know 235 pounds. He has not just used those God given abilities, but he has tried to, you know, make them better."

Jackson has not committed to any school as of yet. He's scheduled to graduate in 2015.
