The legendary Darrell Waltrip joined a panel of current NASCAR drivers including David Ragan and David Gilliland for a celebrity roast at Carson-Newman on Tuesday evening.
The event also featured a VIP meet-and-greet and silent auction that included one-of-a-kind racing memorabilia.
All of the money raised will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Dumplin Valley.
Waltrip says he's excited to be back in East Tennessee at one of his favorite tracks.
"It's fast; it's got those high banks where you just lean that ole car into those banks, a lot of speed. It's difficult, takes a lot of skill, lot of finesse, everything that a driver, that makes a great driver, you get to utilize at Bristol," he said.
This Saturday night, Josh Wise will be driving this Carson Newman Ford Fusion under the lights during the Bristol Sprint Cup race.
