Week 0 began tonight with three big games and ended with two games coming down to the wire.
Seymour came out on top over Sullivan North School with a final of 35-32, but the heart-wrenching game fell in the hands of Farragut. The Admirals trailed Dobyns-Bennett with the opportunity to take the lead with 35 seconds left in the game. However, the winning field goal was slight right leaving the final 20-21. Tough night to be an Admiral.
However, it was an even tougher night to be a Panther as the Powell Panthers fell to Fulton 46-0. Despite the score the crowd continued to stay electric on both sides of the field. Yet, that had no effect on what was happening on the field as the state defenders took complete control of the game, turning almost every possession into a touchdown.
