Saturday evening, the University of Tennessee football team will take to the field in Neyland Stadium for their season opener against Austin Peay. Many fans will be sitting inside the stadium watching the action, but many others plan to watch from home.

Some of the Vols fans preparing to watch the football game from home said they've been experiencing problems with their cable provider. One woman told 10News her Comcast cable box will not allow her to order the game. It turns out there's some sort of glitch with the Comcast system.

"What happened was if a customer pressed 'buy', due to a latency issue it was about a 15 to 20 second delay. [Our system] is very robust and very fast, so when it didn't come up instantly the customer would press the button again and it kind of delayed the process until it timed out." said Russell Byrd, senior director of government & public affairs for Comcast.

Comcast said the bug will be fixed overnight. Around 3:00 a.m. Friday, Comcast plans to send a download to all of the cable boxes in the area. The process is expected to take about an hour. After that, Vols fans should be able to order the UT - Austin Peay game right away.

Another concern for UT fans is the cost. Comcast said customers will see a range of prices based upon their cable provider.

"IMG has a suggested retail price. Comcast has one price and what other providers may charge, I have no reason for what that would be. $34.99 is typically what we've charged for a couple of years and it falls right in the middle for what IMG Sports recommends."

Here's a look at what each Knoxville-area cable provider is charging customers to buy to football game on Pay-Per-View:

Comcast: $34.99
DirecTV: $39.95
Dish Network: $39.99
Charter: $25.21

Here's what channel you can catch Saturday's game, based upon cable providers:

Comcast: Channel 726
DirecTV: Channel 785
Dish Network: Channel 461
AT&T U-Verse: Channel 636
