Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - The Big South has announced its plans for
divisional play in men's basketball for the 2012-13 season.
The conference increased to 12 teams for the upcoming season with the addition
of Longwood.
Campbell, High Point, Liberty, Longwood, Radford and VMI will comprise the
North Division, while the South will consist of Charleston Southern, Coastal
Carolina, Gardner-Webb, Presbyterian, UNC-Asheville and Winthrop.
The 16-game men's basketball schedule will include two games against division
opponents and one against each team from the other. All 12 teams will
participate in the conference tournament, with the top two from each division
receiving first-round byes.
