Syracuse, NY (Sports Network) - James Southerland hit four 3-pointers and
finished with 22 points as sixth-ranked Syracuse posted a 73-53 victory over
Princeton at the Carrier Dome. Southerland, one of five Orange players in
double figures, added five steals and four rebounds. C.J. Fair scored 12
points for Syracuse (3-0), while Brandon Triche, Michael Carter-Williams and
Rakeem Christmas each had 10 in the Orange's 24th consecutive home win.
Carter-Williams also compiled nine assists, six boards and four steals. Clay
Wilson paced the Tigers (1-3) with 15 points. Brendan Connolly and Ian
Hummer supplied 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Lexington, KY (Sports Network) - Archie Goodwin scored a game-high 28 points
and pulled down six rebounds on Wednesday, as No. 8 Kentucky survived a scare
from Morehead State and took an 81-70 victory at Rupp Arena. Alex Poythress
followed with 20 points and eight boards and Nerlens Noel finished with
nine points, 11 rebounds and six blocks for the Wildcats (3-1), who have 54
straight home games and 53 in a row at Rupp Arena. Milton Chavis paced
Morehead State with 23 points and five rebounds, while Maurice Lewis-Briggs
chipped in 13 points off the bench for the Eagles (3-2), who had won their
last two contests.

Maui, HI (Sports Network) - James Michael McAdoo led a balanced attack with 18
points and 10 rebounds, and ninth-ranked North Carolina bounced back from its
first loss of the season with a 112-70 rout of Chaminade in the third-place
game of the Maui Invitational. Reggie Bullock and Leslie McDonald each scored
17, while Brice Johnson chipped in 16 for UNC (5-1), which lost to Butler
Tuesday. De'Andre Haskins poured in 22 points for the Silverswords (3-3),
who also received 15 points from Bennie Murray and 10 from Lee Bailey.
