Stockton, CA (Sports Network) - Lorenzo McCloud had 13 points and six assists
as the Pacific Tigers made easy work of the Cal Poly Mustangs, 77-55, in a Big
West Conference bout at the Spanos Center.
Samu Taku and Rodrigo De souza each scored 10 points for Pacific (9-7, 3-1 Big
West), which has won three in a row. Eleven different Tigers' players scored
in the triumph.
Drake U'u tallied 13 points, but no other player put up double-digit points
for Cal Poly (7-8, 3-2) as it dropped its second straight contest.
Pacific shot a lofty 65 percent from the field in the first half, including 4-
of-6 from beyond the arc, as it led 37-27 at intermission.
The Tigers continued their red-hot shooting after the break, making 62.5
percent of their field goal attempts while adding six more 3-pointers as they
cruised to the victory.
Cal Poly shot just 37 percent from the floor and lost the rebounding battle,
27-22.
