Carson-Newman athletic director to retire

Carson-Newman College Athletics Director David Barger announced today that he will retire from fulltime service on April 30. The longest serving AD in the South Atlantic Conference (SAC), Barger will "for the foreseeable future" raise funds and friends for his alma mater on a part-time basis.
