Raleigh, NC (Sports Network) - North Carolina State announced Monday that football offensive coordinator Dana Bible has been diagnosed with leukemia.

Bible was told he has acute promyelocytic leukemia, and he will undergo treatment for the next 30 days at UNC Hospitals Cancer Center in Chapel Hill.

The 56-year-old is in his second stint as a coach for the Wolfpack, having been the wide receivers coach from 1983-85. He had a brief stint in the NFL as the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles before serving in that same role under head coach Tom O'Brien for the last 11 seasons at both Boston College and NC State.
