(WBIR - McMinn County) The term Vol for Life, or "VFL", has taken on a whole new meaning for one East Tennessee couple.
Robby and Cherish Lowes, of Etowah, have seen pictures of their big orange-themed wedding go viral overnight.
It's been the talk of thousands of college football fans across the country.
The McMinn County's couple's photos have been featured on CBS, ABC, Sportscenter, MSN.com, Bleacher Report and USA Today.
"We both wrote down three things that we enjoyed doing or both enjoyed, and UT football was the one we both nailed," said Robby Lowe, as to why the couple decided to have a Tennessee-themed wedding.
The ceremony was held at Black Fox Farms in Cleveland.
It had everything from a pastor in referee garb to invitations that double as tickets.
"We actually had the people who were attending the wedding form a T," said Robby Lowe. "We came out to Rocky Top."
The couple's families and friends loved it, according to the couple.
Photographer Angi Hawn of, skyrivermeadow Photography, said the wedding was classy from start to finish.
"I've loved all of my weddings that I have photographed, but it is today my absolute favorite," Hawn said.
The wedding itself didn't happen yesterday. It actually occurred more than a year ago on March 16, 2013.
It's only now gaining attention because Robby Lowe tweeted it to the University of Tennessee Football twitter account on Sunday.
From there, thousands on Twitter and Facebook have spread the couple's photos around.
"We are just stunned," said Cherish Lowe. "I mean we never really thought we would get publicity."
