Fox Sports: Comcast & SEC Network close to a deal

It looks like Comcast may be getting close to a deal to carry the SEC Network this fall.

Fox Sports is reporting that the two sides are working out the details of an agreement, though there's no timetable for news of the deal to be released.

If an agreement is reached, that leaves only Time Warner and DirecTV as the only major companies without the network.

Dish, AT&T U-verse and Google Chrome are all set to carry the SEC Network when it launches on August 14th.

Tennessee will open the regular season against Utah State on August 31 on the SEC Network.
