VFL Jayson Swain, analyst and host of The Swain Event, broke down his top three keys of the game Thursday for the Vols to pull out a win against the Florida Gators.
1. Run Joshua Dobbs
"He's an amazing athlete with the ball in his hands," Swain said. "And when you run him it takes the pressure off the offensive line that's struggled the first three games with protecting Dobbs in the pocket. So if you run him, you take pressure off the offensive line and you make it really difficult for the Florida Gator defense, which is really, really, really good."
2. The defensive line
"This is a game that's going to be won, I think, with the Tennessee defensive line," Swain said. "You're going up against a backup quarterback, Cam Sutton's out, you're playing young guys in the back end. The defensive line getting pressure with the front four is going to be a major, major key. Jonathan Kongbo, Derek Barnett, Corey Vereen, those guys up front can really win this game by their play."
3. Give Alvin Kamara the football
"Now with Cam Sutton out, you have a player in Kamara that can affect the game in two of three phases," Swain said. "I'm pretty sure he's going to be the punt returner. Offensively, he's a big play waiting to happen with his speed and agility on the outside."
