Tyndall sits down with WBIR Sports

KNOXVILLE (WBIR) - New Vols coach Donnie Tyndall sat down with WBIR Sports Director Nick Carboni on Monday afternoon.

The interview covered several topics including: recruiting, growing up in Grand Rapids, NCAA Violations, style of play, and more.

Below are Nick's questions. Click on each video to hear Tyndall's answers.

NC: Can you just take me through those 24 hours from talking to Dave Hart, to receiving and accepting the offer, to being introduced in front of hundreds at Pratt Pavilion?

NC: Your dad told us, "No one ever gave Don a big break." When you're introduced do you have time to reflect on the journey you took to get here and how that shaped you on and off the court?

NC: Take me back to growing up in Grand Rapids, when did you fall in love with basketball, and what kind of player were you on the court?

NC: As far as recruiting, what would the perfect Donnie Tyndall player look like? What did the current team do well last year that fits in to you what your style is?

NC: You're losing a lot of size, but you've won elsewhere without a lot of big bodies. Does that mean it's not as concerning to you as it might be to others?

NC: You said at your introductory press conference you learned from the NCAA violations (at Morehead State); What did you learn from them?

NC: Not so much with records, or where you end up in the postseason, what would be a successful first year at Tennessee for you?
