Vols return to NCAA Tournament in a play-in game

Tennessee will return to the NCAA Tournament, and the Vols will have a play-in game against Iowa on Wednesday in Dayton, Ohio.

The Vols will be trying to earn a No. 11 seed in the Midwest Region.

If the Vols win, they will play No. 6 seed UMass in Raleigh, N.C., on Friday. That winner will play the Duke-Mercer winner on Sunday.

The Hawkeyes lost six of their last seven. Their biggest wins were over Big Ten regular-season champion Michigan and Nebraska.

According to Tennessee Basketball, the game will tip at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday on TruTV.

If the Vols win, they'll play UMASS on Friday in Raleigh, NC.
