Spurrier hopes the breaks go South Carolina's way against Vols

The Vols return to their daunting SEC schedule this weekend with 6th ranked South Carolina coming to town.

The Gamecocks have won three straight games over Tennessee, and a win on Saturday would make them bowl eligible.

Coach Steve Spurrier said they've caught some lucky breaks the last few games, and knows that could run out soon.

"Always fun for our team to go into the largest stadium, play a team with the tradition of Tennessee, and that's what we're doing on Saturday. Hopefully, the guys can keep improving a bit, they played better against Arkansas last week, still a lot of room for improvement. We've had some good gracious breaks last week and the week before, and I don't know if they'll keep coming our way all the time. We're going to have to start earning a few of them," said Spurrier.

The Vols and South Carolina will kick off at noon on Saturday. The game will be televised on ESPN.
