Six East Tennessee teams punched their ticket to the TSSAA state football semifinals Friday night, while half a dozen others had their seasons come to an end.

Maryville defeated Farragut in the marquee matchup in the area.  The Rebels 35-14 victory ends the Admirals season.  Maryville will host Riverdale next Friday.

In 5-A, Anderson County fell in a wild shootout to Columbia, 50-44.

Greeneville will host a 4-A semifinal with Nashville White's Creek after upsetting Red Bank 14-13 on a blocked PAT attempt in the 4th quarter.

Alcoa cruised into the 3-A semis, eliminating Loudon, 21-3.  The top-ranked Tornadoes hit the road to Elizabethton for the semifinals.

The 2-A semifinals feature a Rockwood team that's on a roll.  They beat Hampton 28-14 and now visit Chattanooga Boyd-Buchanon for a spot in the state championship game.

Grace advanced to the A semifinals by outscoring Harriman 35-21.  The Rams will be at home next Friday against South Pittsburg.

And in Division II-A, Webb knocked off Evangelical Christian of Memphis 42-28.  They now take on University School of Jackson for the right to play in the Blue Cross Bowl.
