Ice Bears drop the puck at youth camp

Knoxville head coach Mike Craigen is working with some young Ice Bears at camp this week.

Monday kicked off the Ice Bears Youth Camp at Cool Sports in Farragut. Campers ages 6-14 working on hockey fundamentals with Ice Bears head coach Mike Craigen.

"A lot of kids like to play with pucks and a lot of kids like to shoot because that's what they see on TV, but every single kid out here really needs to work on their skating," explained Craigen. "That's why every single morning for half a hour to 45 minutes, we have to do the power skating section."

The camp also works in off-the-ice activities like soccer, football and baseball.

Camp runs through Friday.
