Butch Jones made an appearance at Variety's golf tournament on Monday morning to help raise money for underprivileged children in East Tennessee.

"It's all about giving back to the community and making a difference and this is one of those days that you really look forward to, I look forward to doing this every single year," Jones said. "It's about making a difference in the lives of young people."

Jones tooks photos with each golf foursome that paid to play in the tournament and he was on hand when Variety presented three adaptive tricycles to families with special needs children.

The tricycles give kids the opportunity to ride a bike when they otherwise wouldn't be able to because of physical limitations.

Variety of Eastern Tennessee is a local chapter of the national children's charity and has donated more than $9 million to children in the area since it was started by Regal Cinemas in 2001.
