BRISTOL, TENN. - With the Battle at Bristol just two days away, crews are making some final preparations to get the field ready for players and the stadium ready for fans.
Officials say that most of the remaining work involves double checking the turf, installing the last seats, and some final clean up.
“I can see 100 percent completion. We are not there yet, we are very close," Adam Rust of Bristol Motor Speedway said, "I would say we are within three percent of final completion.”

He said the logistics have been the hardest part of transforming the world's fastest half mile track into the world's largest football stadium.
If you are one of the 150,000 fans expected to attend the game, Rust suggests doing as much prep work as you can like planning your way in and out.

Crews are also putting the final touches on a massive stage set up inside the track for Friday night's concert featuring Old Dominion, The Band Perry, and Kenny Chesney.
After the concert, the astro turf team plans to double check the field one more time and install more material, if needed.
