Game two of Tennessee/Florida pushed to Sunday

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (school release) -- Due to sustained rain expected for all of Saturday afternoon and evening, the second game of this week's series between No. 2 Tennessee and No. 4 Florida, originally scheduled for 1 p.m. ET, has been pushed to Sunday at 10 a.m. ET.

Tennessee (29-3, 6-1 SEC) and Florida (31-5, 5-5 SEC) will play a doubleheader on Sunday with Game 2 of the series at 10 a.m. ET and Game 3 at noon. If Game 2 is not finished by noon, it will stop at noon in preparation for the originally-scheduled Game 3 at 1 p.m. ET on CSS and ESPN3. Game 2 will resume play, if necessary, after the conclusion of Game 3.

Game 2 will not be televised.

For Sunday's Game 2 and Game 3 of the Tennessee-Florida softball series, fans who purchased Saturday single-game (Game 2) tickets may exchange those tickets at the Sherri Parker Lee Stadium Box office for a general admission pass for Sunday's games.

Fans who purchased tickets for Sunday's 1 p.m. ET game (Game 3) may attend the 10 a.m. game (Game 2) and stay for both games. The general admission passes for Saturday (Game 2) ticket purchasers are based on availability, so it is advised to arrive early at 9 a.m. ET to exchange Saturday tickets.

If a single-game purchaser is unable to attend on Sunday, tickets may be mailed back to the Tennessee ticket office or returned in-person to the ticket office on Phillip Fulmer Way during normal business hours to receive a refund. Returns are accepted until May 1.

Also, the Knoxville Marathon is taking place on Sunday along Neyland Drive. For those attending Sunday's 10 a.m. game (Game 2) or arriving early to exchange tickets, enter Neyland Drive from the James White Parkway. Closer to the start of the 10 a.m. game, Neyland Drive will be fully open.
