Titans sign two, cut Fitzpatrick on Friday

The Tennessee Titans signed players on both sides of the ball Friday.

Former Denver Bronco Wesley Woodyard signed a four-year, $16 million deal with the Titans. Woodyard played his first six seasons with the Broncos, playing in 87 games with a total of 396 tackles, eight sacks, five interceptions, six forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

Tennessee also signed offensive tackle Michael Oher. Oher played the last five seasons with the Ravens. He agreed to a four-year, $20 million contract, including $9.5 million guaranteed.

Oher has played at both tackle positions, with a total of 43 starts at right tackle and 37 at left tackle.

Tennessee also released quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick a day after signing former Chargers back-up Charlie Whitehurst. Fitzpatrick started nine games in place of Jake Locker in 2013. He completed 217 of 350 passes for 2,454 yards and 14 touchdowns last season with 12 interceptions.
