NASHVILLE (The Tennessean) -- Quarterback Jake Locker said the first day in pads was also the best day for the offense through three days of Titans training camp.

"I thought (the rhythm) was a lot better today," Locker said. "I felt that we were a little on and off the first two days, but we did a lot better job of being consistent and having a good full practice."

Locker did throw one interception on Monday, but it was hard to put blame on him. Tight end Taylor Thompson hauled in the pass for an instant, only to have linebacker Zach Brown rip it out of his hands.

For the most part, Locker has looked pretty good through three days of camp, and on Monday he talked about the emphasis coach Ken Whisenhunt has placed on accuracy.

"We've just been spending time working and really stressing it," Locker said. "Coach Whiz, since he got here, has really put an emphasis on it – not just completing passes, but allowing receivers to run after the catch. Maybe throwing balls I normally wouldn't have thrown to a spot and giving guys an opportunity to run out and make catches.

"I'm just trying to advance in that area. (Whisenhunt) has really challenged me there and I'm thankful for that."
