Predators beat Blues to advance to Western Conference Final for first time

The Nashville Predators have made team history.

After 18 seasons, the Predators have made their first conference final after defeating the St. Louis Blues in six games in the conference semifinals.

Nashville closed out St. Louis on home ice Sunday 3-1 to move on.

The Columbus Blue Jackets and Winnipeg Jets are the only teams left that have never made a conference final.

The Predators will play the winner of the Ducks-Oilers series.
