Calgary, AB (Sports Network) - Ryan Getzlaf scored twice, including the
eventual game-winner in the third period, to lead the Anaheim Ducks in a 5-4
win over the Calgary Flames on Monday.
Daniel Winnik had two goals and an assist while Saku Koivu added a goal and
two assists for the Ducks, who opened their season with a 7-3 win over
Vancouver. Jonas Hiller stopped 21 shots in the win.
Curtis Glencross scored twice with an assist while Alex Tanguay posted a goal
and an assist for the Flames, who took a 4-1 loss to San Jose in their opener
on Sunday. Miikka Kiprusoff made just 19 saves in the loss.
