Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Bobby Ryan and Ryan Getzlaf scored in the
shootout to lift the Anaheim Ducks over the Dallas Stars, 2-1, on Thursday.
Andrew Cogliano scored in regulation for the Ducks, who had lost four straight
against Dallas. Jonas Hiller made 33 saves.
Anaheim, which picked up its fifth consecutive victory, played without the
services of forward Corey Perry, who served the first of a four-game ban for
an illegal hit against Minnesota's Jason Zucker in Tuesday's 2-1 road victory
over the Wild.
Ray Whitney lit the lamp for the Stars, who have lost three in a row, while
Kari Lehtonen made 29 saves.
