Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 23 shots to notch
his first shutout of the season, as the Pittsburgh Penguins earned their
eighth straight victory with a 3-0 whitewashing of the New York Rangers on
Saturday at CONSOL Energy Center.
Fleury's shutout was the 23rd of his career, making him Pittsburgh's all-time
leader in shutouts.
Beau Bennett, Tyler Kennedy and Pascal Dupuis each scored once for the
Penguins, who have won the last seven meetings with the Rangers, including all
three this season.
Henrik Lundqvist allowed all three goals on 27 shots in the setback, New
York's third in a row and fourth in its last five games.
