
Raleigh, NC (Sports Network) - The Carolina Hurricanes have activated center Eric Staal off injured reserve.
Staal has missed 10 games with an upper body injury. He was hurt during a November 1 game against San Jose.
Before the injury, Staal had appeared in 349 straight regular-season games. He has just three goals and two assists in 13 games this season entering Wednesday's action.
Staal, selected by the Hurricanes with the second overall pick of the 2003 NHL Draft, has 167 goals and 363 points in 422 regular-season games.
