Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) - The Edmonton Oilers announced Friday that forward Ales Hemsky will have surgery to repair damage to his left shoulder.
The 26-year-old is currently second on the team in scoring with 22 points and leads Edmonton with 15 assists in 22 games.
