Fights in training camp are rare for the Tennessee Titans. They had one of their best ever Thursday morning. Rookie running back LenDale White was involved in two separate instances with defensive back Donnie Nickey. The first happened after White carried the ball on a running play and was bumped walking back toward the huddle. He walked back, and Nickey pushed White back with his helmet. A defensive player yelled that White had spit in Nickey's face. In the second, White missed an outlet pass from Matt Mauck, and Nickey ran across and shoved him in the back. There was more pushing and shoving, and White was taken to the ground. Nickey threw a punch before the players were separated. Nickey walked away, took off his helmet and threw it to the ground. Coach Jeff Fisher yelled at his Titans about cheap shots. He wasn't available after practice, and neither White nor Nickey would comment.
