Support the Wounded Warriors Golf Tournament

A pair of former Maryville Scots teamed up to help veterans.

Former Maryville College football teammates Tony Ierulli and Retired Colonel David Evans created the Support the Wounded Warriors Golf Tournament to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

One hundred twenty golfers came out to Green Meadow Country Club in Alcoa to support the cause including two veterans who played football for Ierulli at Maryville College.

Former Scots and William Blount running back Marcus Kenny accepted a commission as an intelligence officer in the Marine Corps after college and served several tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Joshua Massengale played one season at Maryville College, making three starts before enlisting in the Army and enduring three deployments overseas.
