World's first bacon-fueled motorcycle to make multi-state trip
Hormel has created a motorcycle that is fueled by bacon grease that's sure to attract a lot of tailgaters on its journey from Minnesota to the San Diego Bacon Fest. Mara Montalbano (@maramontalbano) shows us.
Hormel has come up with a new use for bacon-- fueling a motorcycle.
The company has introduced the world's first bacon-powered motorcycle, and it's being ridden from Minnesota to San Diego to promote the International Bacon Film Festival.
The company says the motorcycle, which has been converted from running on diesel fuel to bio-fuel, gets between 75 and 100 miles to the gallon and the exhaust smells like bacon.
