Enjoy an outdoor adventure and stay active right in the heart of the Maryville College campus on Sunday, Oct. 20.

Maryville College Outdoor Adventure

Maryville College's Mountain Challenge program will host its annual Outdoor Adventure on Sunday, Oct. 20 from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

"Outdoor Adventure: A Celebration of Human-Powered Activity" will meet at the Crawford House on the Maryville College Campus.

Maryville College, Mountain Challenge, Little River Trading Company and Cycology Bicycles will highlight local outdoor activity providers, outdoor equipment and outdoor advocacy groups.

Festival guests can scale the 60-foot Alpine Tower and the Mountain Challenge climbing cave and enjoy other activities and games. Live music will be provided by Common Man.

Practice Yoga & Wellness and Operation Bootcamp Knoxville will team up to host a workout in Lakeshore Park on Sunday, Oct. 20. Donations will be accepted for the Knoxville chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Fit For a Cure

The Practice Yoga & Wellness and Operation Bootcamp Knoxville have teamed up to host a donation-based Get Fit for a Cure workout in Lakeshore Park on Sunday, Oct. 20 from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.

The class will be divided into of boot camp-style high intensity interval training followed by yoga.

To make a donation, visit the Komen Knoxville website, click "make a donation," then "personal fundraising." Click "find a page" then type "Get Fit for the Cure." Select the page then click "Make a Donation."

Participants need to bring a yoga mat with them to the class and be sure to wear exercise-appropriate shoes.
