Head to Anderson County to check out their Haunted Forest. The forest will be open Friday all the way to Halloween. Meet at 3361 Clinton Hwy to take a hay ride to the site.
Ghosts, goblins and good times can be had at this year's Boo at the Zoo. Thursday through Sunday enjoy a safe, not-too-scary time, trick or treating at the Zoo. Admission is $7, kids under 2 get in free.
There is a plethora of theatrical performances this weekend. The Clarence Brown Theatre will have Control-Alt-Delete, a satire focused on commercialism, greed and corporate ambition. Curtain goes up at 7:30pm on Thursday through Saturday and 2:00pm Sunday.
Clever thriller Deathtrap can be seen at the Theatre Knoxville Downtown. Tickets are $10 Thursday and Sunday and $15 Friday and Saturday.
Agatha Christie's critically acclaimed Moustrap will be brought to life at the Knoxville Children's Theatre. Performances start Friday and go though Sunday. Tickets are $12.
The Tennessee Theatre offers Offenbach's pièce de résistance with The Tales of Hoffman. It's a world of fantasy and diabolical villains taking place Friday and Sunday.
Come out and visit the Branson Farm's Haunted Forest in Washburn Tennessee. Not only do you get a spooky time, but your admission goes to help a person in need. The haunting takes place Friday and Saturday from 7:30 to 10:30pm.
Trick or Treating in the Cave is taking place at Cherokee Caverns Friday through Sunday. All you need is $8 and a sense of adventure as you head underground for a festive time. The cave opens at 5:30pm.
In the mood for music? The Bijou has Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors along with the Saint Johns on Friday. Tickets are $17. Show starts at 8:00pm.
Friendly Farm is having a family fun festival Friday through Saturday. Experience great food, live animals and if your feeling brave, check out their haunted forest. Tickets start at $10.

Dead Man's Farm runs through Saturday and is located at 9567 U.S. 11 Lenoir City, TN 37772. Doors open at 7:00pm.
Dreadford's Mansion runs through Sunday and is located in the parking lot at Knoxville Center Mall. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Horse Haven will be hosting Boo at the Barn on Saturday. There will be loads of activities for the whole family and even a haunted barn for the not so faint of heart. $10 covers parking and carload admission.
If you like some history with your trick or treating, head to Marble Springs for their Halloween Haunts and Haints. The site will be open Saturday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
The Knoxville Horror Film Festival is taking place Friday through Sunday. Regal Downtown West will have hours of frightening good footage starting at 1:00pm. Tickets start at $10. You must be 18 or older.
On Sunday, Pathways Church has The Candy Bash. This totally free event will offer trunk or treating, inflatables and food. The fun goes from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.
