(WBIR-Knoxville, Tenn.) Figure skating and hockey seem hard to learn. Curling, however, seems a lot easier to master.
Knoxville has its own curling club. They're hosting special classes in honor of the Winter Olympics.
The Great Smoky Mountains Curling Clubwas established in 2004. Members meet on Sunday and Wednesday nights at the Ice Chalet in Bearden.
During the Olympics, GSMCC is hosting "Learn to Curl" events.
Two classes will be taught on all four nights. The special lessons are scheduled for February 12, 16, 19 and 23.
