(WBIR) Over the next couple days, Oak Ridge's Secret City Festival will celebrate its unique history, teaching people about the city's role that helped the Allied Forces win World War II.
During the festival, visitors can tour places like Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Y-12 Security Complex, and the American Museum of Science and Energy. The festival will also feature plenty of crafts, food, family-fun entertainment, and singers Eddie Money and Kix Brooks.
The Southeast Tourism Society named the Secret City Festival a top 20 event for 2014.
The event runs all day Friday and Saturday in and around A.K. Bissel park on the Oak Ridge Turnpike.
