Your votes carried him all the way from Pineville, Kentucky to New York City, and Thursday night, Jimmy Rose learned he's staying on the show another week.
It came down to the wire, but Rose made the cut as one of six finalists.
The veteran and former coal miner burst on the scene with his own song, "Coal Keeps the Lights on".
As always, he received a lot of support Thursday in his hometown, and the crowd at the Pineville courthouse was ecstatic. His fans say they're not surprised he's still on the show, even after all this time.
After he found out he was staying in the finals, Jimmy tweeted, "THANK YOU AMERICA!!! Words can't even describe my feeling right now! God Bless!!"
