(WBIR, Knoxville) - Hot Rod lovers get ready! The Hot Rod Power Tour will make its first stop ever in Knoxville this summer.
The Hot Rod Power Tour will make stops in seven cities, and they will do it all in seven days.
On June 8th more than 3,000 hot rods will be at Chilhowee Park.
The 20-year-old tour has come through Knoxville, but it has never stopped here.
"Seven cities in seven days. It's kind of an endurance test for performance cars: muscle cars of old, muscle cars of the new generation, street rods, every kind of performance car you can imagine. Probably about 3500 of them will be showing up in Knoxville," said Jeff Dahlin, publisher of Hot Rod Magazine.
It will be in Knoxville on Sunday, June 8th, and the public is invited to come out and look at the cars with no admission fee.
The tour will start in Charlotte and end in Wisconsin.
