Nearly 775,000 Tennesseans will head out of town this weekend for the Memorial Day holiday, the biggest group to travel for the holiday since the recession, AAA reports.

ROAD WORK

All construction-related lane closures on interstates and state routes will be suspended from noon today through 6 a.m. Tuesday.

NO REFUSAL

The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be increasing patrols and holding "no refusal" enforcement this weekend. This allows troopers to get search warrants for blood samples if they suspect a driver is impaired.

GAS PRICES

While gas prices have held steady in recent weeks, compared to a year ago residents in Tennessee are paying more for fuel. The current state average is $3.45.
