The Knoxville Zoo is getting interactive -- unveiling a new play area that will take kids across the Pacific Ocean.

The new Wee Play Adventure will take kids on a trip to a remote island in Indonesia filled with more than a dozen different species of lizards, highlighted by the zoo's Komodo dragons.

Adventurers can also scale the giant Woka tree, burrow through tunnels and dig through an archaeological site.

The key is to get kids learning by having fun.

"We're really excited about it because it's a new place at the zoo that will offer continued education and childhood development for kids," said Whitney Johnson.

The exhibit will open to the public July 19th.
