The Best Fudge Brownie (and it takes only a minute longer than a mix)
½ cup unsalted butter, and additional for coating pan
1 ¼ cup sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1/3 cup Southern Biscuit All-Purpose Flour
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line an 8-inch or 9-inch square baking pan with foil. Coat the foil with butter.
Combine sugar, cocoa powder and salt in a mixing bowl. Melt butter and pour over the mixture, stir until well blended. Add vanilla and eggs, stir. Stir in flour just until blended, batter will be very thick. Set aside.
Spread the brownie batter in the pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted is almost clean when removed. Remove from oven.
Cool in pan 10 minutes. Lift foil from pan and place on cooking rack to cool completely. Cut into small squares.
