Gary Nicely from Naples Italian Restaurant stopped by to show us how to make a seafood dish!

You need 8 jumbo sea scallops for this.

Five spice mix:

2Tbsp coriander

1Tbsp allspice

1Tbsp rosemary

1/2Tbsp black pepper

1/4Tbsp ground ginger

1. Combine and mix all spices
2. Dredge scallops in spice mix and shake off excess
3. Pan sear scallops in olive oil until golden brown on both sides. Remove from heat.

Butternut squash puree

1 small butternut squash roasted and pureed
salt and pepper to taste
2Tbsp butter
1Tbsp brown sugar

Pistachio brown butter

1/3 lb butter
fresh minced sage leaves
pistachio nuts
salt and pepper to taste

1. On low, heat butter until golden brown. Remove from heat. Add salt, pepper, sage and pistachios. Serve over scallops and squash puree.
