2 cans whole water chestnuts, well drained

12 ounces sliced bacon, approximately

1/2 cup Brown sugar

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup chili sauce

Preheat oven to 350°. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment or spray heavily with Pam. A silpat liner is perfect for the task. In a medium bowl, combine sugar, mayonnaise and chili sauce thoroughly. Set aside. Cut bacon slices into halves or thirds. Wrap each water chestnut in a section of bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Bake about one hour or until bacon is crisp.
